NATALIE PRESS
Natalie Press is a filmmaker, producer, and cinematographer based in Los Angeles and currently studying Film & Television at UCLA. Drawn to both the creative and logistical sides of filmmaking, she is especially interested in visual storytelling that feels intimate, grounded, and emotionally honest, as well as the collaborative systems that make ambitious projects possible.
Natalie has worked on numerous student and professional sets in a range of roles, including Producer, Director of Photography, and camera department positions. Through this hands-on experience, she has developed a strong understanding of set operations, visual language, and the importance of clear communication and leadership in fast-paced production environments. She is particularly passionate about crafting visuals that support character-driven stories while balancing creative vision with practical production needs.
In addition to her on-set work, Natalie is deeply involved in film communities at UCLA, where she collaborates with fellow filmmakers across disciplines and supports projects from development through post-production. Whether producing, shooting, or both, she is drawn to stories that explore identity, memory, relationships, and the quiet moments that define early adulthood.
Natalie hopes to continue building a career that bridges producing and cinematography, creating work that is both visually intentional and thoughtfully made.
